It’s a process that begins long before the cameras start rolling. Our goal is to make sure that everything goes smoothly and that you’re able to leverage what we produce in as many ways as possible (hint: don’t just put the video on YouTube – embed it on your website, share it via email, extract smaller pieces to post on social media – shoot it once, but show it everywhere!) Our team will work with you throughout the video production process to understand what you want to achieve and make it happen.

Pre-Production – We Plan to Succeed!

The first step of the video production process is the pre-production phase. First, we’ll meet to discuss your objectives and outline the concept for the video you have in mind. We’ll also explore additional ways in which your video can be utilized. If your project requires a script, our writers will work with you to be sure that every word is in place and approved before we bring in the video crew.

Next, we’ll plan out camera angles and determine what equipment and other resources will be required to capture the footage we need. We’ll do this by touring the spaces where the filming will be done. Once the shoot date is scheduled, we will work with you to prepare your location and your people so that everything and everyone involved looks great when the camera rolls!

Production – Lights, Camera, Action!

The second step of the video production process is the production phase. On the day of the shoot, the Davideo crew will arrive with lots of equipment and plenty of positive enthusiasm! If the project calls for your staff and your customers to appear on screen, they will be in good hands. Being on camera can be daunting, especially when sharing personal stories about one’s experiences with a company, a product, or a service.

We are proud of our ability to put subjects at ease and create an environment in which they are comfortable to speak freely and from the heart. Even people who are used to public speaking will sometimes feel out of their depth in front of the camera or reading off of a TelePrompTer. Our experience and professionalism allows us to guide you through the shoot and get the job done.

Post Production – Let the Magic Begin!

The third and final step of the video production process is the post production phase. After shooting has wrapped and we have all the materials we need to tell your story, our lead editor, Candice Moore, will skillfully carve through the footage without ever compromising authenticity. She has an incredible knack for putting together the best pieces to tell your story.

You will have the option to review the raw footage and provide input. If a narrator is required, we will present several different candidates for your consideration and then record the voice over. Once we have blended all of the elements into a complete video, we will present the first draft for your approval. Generally, it takes just one more round of tweaking to complete the final version and deliver the encoded files.

We can also help you with the logistics of embedding the video wherever it needs to be seen. After all, whether your goal is to train your employees, illustrate how you’re aiding your community, or celebrate a successful year, you have a story that needs to be told.
